Directors

Our board of directors is made up of three of the original team who started the company; Andrew Blackadder, Jack Burgess and Susan Fogg.  Alongside these three key members are two members of staff whom were once graduate recruits; Alice Mathewson and Diana Robertson.

Jack Burgess was instrumental in helping to set up A B Associates Ltd after retiring from a long career in local economic development, having been the Director of Development for Shetland Islands Council for 20 years.  His experience and knowledge have been vital  to the development and growth of the business.  He is also very active within the local community and had guided through a number of local community projects, the  most recent being the creation of a new museum for Scalloway.

Susan Fogg is also a founding member of the original team who left secure employment in the Shetland Islands Council to help establish the company.  She came with her particular expertise and skills in editing work, journalism, and European Affairs which enabled us to secure good contracts early on.  She has now retired from full time work but continues to assist and support the business as a director.
