Funding Packages
Scalloway Museum Involved carrying out an options appraisal, followed by a business plan including financial projections, a marketing and communications strategy, a monitoring and evaluation plan and a risk analysis and the preperation and submission of a Lottery, SRDP and Shetland Islands Council Capital Grant Aid funding applications. Funding applications were successful and we were able to complete the funding package meaning that the project can go ahead.
FIBOT The total project cost for the new Fair Isle Bird Observatory was £4 million. A B Associates developed a funding package as past of the work undertaken for the project, sourcing funds from a great variety of sources including HIE Shetland, Shetland Islands Council, Shetland Islands Charitable Trust, Shetland Amenity Trust, SNH, Lottery, and SDRP. We were successful in completing the funding package for the project and building works commenced in summer 2009.
ERDF application and additional funding applications for Hoswick Visitor Centre 2001. This is one of many funding applications we have submitted to the ERDF but is an example of smaller scale community project. Furthermore, part of the funding package was sourced from Leader.
Several private companies funding packages, including both private sources and ERDF, FIFG & EAGGF. e.g. funding for fixed links, ferries, harbour and airport infrastructure, industrial buildings, fish processing factories and aquaculture developments.
Music Venue Stage 1 Lottery Application and Business Plan 2005 This project included preparation of a funding package for a £6 million project and a business plan for its operation with several scenarios to establish a breakeven point and possible level of ongoing support required.
